It is always really special when someone who knows me asks me to be their Norfolk Wedding Videographer. I have known Kane for many years since my days when I wasn’t a full time film maker. When that couple also puts faith in me when it comes to recommendations too that is always such a lovely feeling.
Stacy and Kane talked to me about their plans before they had anything booked so when I suggested we added Tim Stephenson to the team it meant that my last 3 weddings of the year had all been with the same wedding photographer.
This was definately a lovely day to finish what has been the busiest year I have ever had!
How They Made it Their Own
One of the nicest things Stacy and Kane did was 100% embrace the time of year. With a wedding around the Christmas period it can often be a question of do you embrace it and encorperate it into your decor etc. It was lovely to see the festive colours spread throughout the venue.
It also meant that when it came to going out for a night shot we knew we would go for green and red as it would just fit.
Wedding Video Vibe
Stacy and Kane said some lovely personal vows to each other. With this in mind I 100% needed to ensure the film featured this strongly. Their highlights film I wanted to base the structure around the vows while featuring couples time too. These two braved the sub zero temperatures as we took a walk around the grounds.
What a year 2022 has been and I can’t wait for 2023! I will confess at this point that while I usually produce a best of video each year I have taken the decision that this year I will probably have to hold fire. With 2022 being the year it was I am looking forward to taking a few weeks away from the edit screen and with my family!
