An Epic Fawley Hill Wedding Video

Karen + Michael

AUGUST 2019β”‚BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

Buckinghamshire Wedding Videographer Fawley Hill Karen and Micha

When you get the call from Jo at One Curious Dream saying she has an epic couple who would be just perfect for a team-up with Tim Stephenson and me, you just know it would be something special!  Officially the most I have ever packed into a wedding highlights film this day was just amazing from start to finish!  Definitely, a day to love my job as a Buckinghamshire Wedding Videographer.

Tim and I jumped in the car and headed over to Henley-on-Themes to find Michael and his groomsmen getting ready at The Compleat Angler. We arrived to find the lads having a good laugh and getting ready.

On the way to find Karen, we decided to head over to Fawley Hill to have a quick scout around and see what was happening. The weather at that point was a little bit rough and on our way back, we found a fallen tree blocking our path. After a little help from a local with a chainsaw, we were soon on our way back to Henley-on-Themes meet up with Karen and the girls. Bridal prep smashed it was time to head back to Fawley.

Fawley Hill is a rather epic backdrop for any wedding. With a fully functioning Railway Station, a museum, Alpacas, Iron Hege and not to forget an eclectic collection of transport memorabilia. Plan A was a hilltop outdoor ceremony, but with the wind, it was brought inside the main hall, and personally what a call this was! With the walls covered in the most incredible collection of memorabilia on the walls, it all added to the epicness!

After such a fantastic ceremony (personal vows whoop whoop!) it was straight onto the β€˜Wedding Belle’ steam train for Karen and Michael as they went on a private trip. I say private, of course, there were a couple of stowaways in the form of me and Tim!

A platform side drinks reception followed, with the incredible Florentina Catering bringing some rather special canapes around and the guests got to take some trips on the steam train.

Disco Bingo

Next up was one of the most unique things I have seen at a wedding day. When Tim and I had had our pre-wedding chat with Karen and Michael they had talked about a 80’s Disco Bingo, unsure of what to expect we were on hand to capture whatever came our way.

Well, needless to say… Oh My… I have never had to move so fast or been so hot whilst filming on a wedding day. Basically, the game was each table had an 80’s song that was their own. When the song dropped, they had to make it their own! You’re going to have to watch the wedding film to see what happened!

Wedding Speeches next then it was off to Iron Henge (yup you read that right) with bride and groom to capture some golden hour goodness!

These two then partied the night away with their nearest and dearest!

What an incredible wedding day this was and guys it was my absolute pleasure to be your wedding videographer! Thank you so much!
