My First Worstead Estate Norfolk Wedding
My recent visit to The Woodyard, Worstead Estate was for the magical wedding of Jenna and Kyle. As a wedding videographer in Norfolk, it’s always nice heading to a new venue for the first time. I say the first time, but I have been to The Worstead Estate before. Once to put together a bit of a promo/styled shoot before the venue was officially finished and again for a supplier open day. Join me as I delve into the details of this unforgettable day, where love blossomed against the backdrop of the estate’s rustic charm.
A Gorgeous Autumnal Day
As I arrived at Worstead Estate in the morning the first thing I needed to do was to pop the drone up for some establishing shots. The weather was looking a little hit and miss and while we did have some drizzle here and there it remained a lovely autumnal day for the important parts of the day
The Beautifully Decorated Barn
The heart of the celebration was nestled in the beautifully decorated barn, adorned with two magnificent pillars of flowers that framed the couple perfectly. The barn provided an intimate setting for Jenna and Kyle to exchange vows. After sneaking outside for a quick confetti shot these lovely people were able to enjoy a good old mingle outside.
Some Time Away
Before the festivities continued with wedding breakfast and speeches we stole the couple away for a leisurely stroll. Wandering around the wooded area and approaching the beautiful lake, we embraced the soft, golden light that bathed the surroundings. The resulting footage captured the couple’s connection against nature’s breathtaking canvas, showcasing their genuine joy and love. Jenna and Tye’s willingness to immerse themselves in this moment led to delightful, authentic shots.
Dance Time
Everyone hit the bar before it was time to kick of the dance floor. Jenna and Kyle had a lovely first dance together before everyone joined in. With “Just For Tonight” bringing the party there was plenty of energy on the dancefloor for me to capture before I called it a night. Gorgeous couple, awesome day and a real pleasure to be a part of!
The rustic charm of The Woodyard at Worstead Estate, combined with the genuine connection between the couple, created a wedding day that they will remember for a lifetime. It was a genuine pleasure to be a part of their big day!
