Romantic Baby Announcement Video

When Emily and Alex contacted me about arranging a baby announcement shoot I was so excited!  These two had the most amazing wedding at The Boathouse in Norfolk last year.  It was so much fun getting to know these two and being their wedding videographer.  To hear their big news that there was a new baby on the way was not just awesome but got my creative juices running.

The Location: Winterton

The Sand dunes at Winterton-on-sea were the perfect backdrop for this pregnancy announcement film.  These are without doubt special sand dunes which stretch as far as the eye can see.  This is a site of special scientific interest and designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.

You could lose yourself for days walking around the dunes and grasses that stretch down to the beach.  The rise and fall of the dunes give fantastic levels and layers to any film. 

The Baby Announcement Film

We took a walk up into the dunes alongside Tim Stephenson Photography.  The couple had arranged some special dresses to use in the shoot.  As I knew from their wedding day Alex and Emily know exactly what to do in front of the camera.  It always makes it a dream.  Tim and I just stepped back and let them be themselves.  They smashed it just like last time!

The climax to the Baby Announcement Film was the baby grow that the couple pulled out.  It finished off the story beautifully and was the wow moment at the end.  The plan for this film was to show to Alex and Emily’s family and friends to break the news!

Mini Shoot Magic

As well as shooting this gorgeous announcement film.  Alex and Emily also had a Rock the Frock shoot where we headed back to the Boathouse to relive their wedding.  We also headed down to the beach with their actual wedding dresses on.  This Rock the Dress shoot is coming soon!
