The Prep
This was one of those beautifuly elegant weddings at Oxnead Hall that I always love to be a part of in my job as a wedding videographer in Norfolk. Beth and Paul had made a lot of comments on the run up to the big day about being nervous in front of camera. As expected, they need not worry as they were completely natural and fun on the day and some of the moments I captured on the day was some of my faves!
Always good in advance to know I am working with a photographer I work so well with. Darina Stoda and I had so much fun with these two.
How They Made it Their Own
Paul runs his own gin company so, as you can imagine, gin featured throughout the day. This was no more in evidence as the couple ran their own gin bar after the meal. With Paul’s company gin forming center stage this caused a real buzz as the daylight began to fade.
The outdoor ceremony space was beautifully styled and was the perfect backdrop. Although, we nearly didn’t make it outside. Beth took one step outside and the heavens opened. Thankfully the downpour was short lived and thanks to some persuasion the registrars allowed the outdoor wedding ceremony to go ahead.
For the meal, the couple had a really unique layout to the barn at Oxnead Hall. I have never seen a “centre table” like that and with all the beautiful styling mixed in, it really felt different. The sunset was so beautiful it just had to make it’s way in there and well these two were perfect natuals (even if they don’t believe it!)
Wedding Video Vibe
Well with these two lovely people on my edit screen, I knew I had to ensure the film fitted in with the vibe on the day. This was such a lovely stylish wedding and I made sure that feel came across in the wedding film.
I chose a very cool track with a relaxed vibe to build the wedding film around and made sure some of the details of the day featured within it.
