A 16th century hall complete with great barn provides a spectacular backdrop to any wedding day. It has plenty of accommodation for you and your guests on-site. Without doubt, it is one of the best outdoor wedding venues in Norfolk. Having your ceremony overlooking the river running through the gardens is beautiful. What especially makes Oxnead special is the variety of places where you can have your wedding ceremony. The Fountain Room sits 140 guests and is a lovely space bright and airy. Looking for a church wedding? St Michael and All Angels church is a medieval church next to the Hall. Finally, if you are having a smaller ceremony, The Orangery can seat 50 guests and is a beautiful intimate space.
Once the ceremony is complete, the gardens are the perfect place for a wedding videographer. Taking a wander together under the striking architecture and over the river is just beautiful. There are genuinely no limits to the different shots for your wedding film.
If you time it right, the golden light just before sunset can be exceptionally spectacular at Oxnead Hall. Melissa and Michael took a walk in 2019 for some stunning golden hour moments.
