Southwood Hall Delivers Again

It’s always great to head the short journey down the road for a Southwood Hall wedding. Lucy and Tom were two of the nicest people you could hope to meet and it was so lovely to see them have such an amazing day.

One of the great things when you get married at this lovely wedding venue in Norfolk is that the team are always on hand to help. In the run up and on the day, you can rest assured you are in safe hands.

A Beautiful Wedding Ceremony Under The Rotunda

Lucy had asked a couple of times if I thought we would be all good for the outdoor ceremony. Yep, was the answer and I am so pleased that they got the outdoor ceremony they wanted. There had been a small amount of rain in the area but it wasn’t enough to cause a problem.

Just before Lucy was about to come down the aisle I had to whisper in one of the best men’s ears. Tom, being a tall lad, had clearly put his arms up or hugged someone which had pulled his shirt out.

A quick tuck in and we were ready for Lucy to make her way down the aisle. I think she took Tom’s breath away as he looked completely stunned.

Enjoying The Southwood Hall Gardens

The greyness had cleared up and all the couple’s family and friends were able to enjoy drinks outside. Once the formal family photos were complete, it was time to take these two for a walk.

I had already walked the gardens and come up with a plan. Even though I have been to Southwood Hall many many times as a Norfolk wedding videographer, I still walk the grounds and come up with a plan to make sure my wedding films are bespoke to my couples.

Some Speeches And Grub

Tom had prewarned me that the speeches were going to be “record breakers” for their length. The speeches may have been brief but they were still lovely!

These two legends had such a lovely day and I was genuinely so pleased for them!
