The Prep:
I always love heading over to a new wedding venue. Especially when that wedding venue is somewhere a little unique and special. Snape Maltings in Suffolk is a concert hall designed by the legendary Benjamin Britain. A truly unique place to get married and an absolute dream to be a wedding videographer in Suffolk.
I arrived to find Rachel and Alex both on-site but getting ready in different unique rooms. Rachel in the old hall conservatory and Alex in an upstairs apartment. Genuinely these two were an absolute dream on the day and the morning was the most relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
How They Made It Their Own:
Well, for starters, it was a concert hall! Getting married on the stage was so unique and seeing Alex’s face as Rachel made her way down the stairs in the spotlight was just magical. Add in a couple whose favourite thing in the world is to go for a walk, it was such an amazing day.
Wedding Video Vibe:
Rachel and Alex both wrote their own vows to each other and in the magical surroundings, the sound resonated perfectly. So straight away I knew I had to use their vows in a story-led wedding film. Then we walked and walked! Couples time was just so amazing as these two just loved being together and it came across in the film.
Big shout out to Luis Holden, photographer on the day. Rachel and Alex were a dream of a couple in a dream location! I hope to film another wedding at Snape Maltings soon.
