Kimberley & Peter’s Elms Barn Wedding

May 2025

Back To Elms Barn For A Wedding

This was my first visit for an Elms Barn wedding of 2025 and what a fun day it was. Kimberley and Peter were married in the rose garden which is a beautiful backdrop to any wedding film.

I arrived at this lovely wedding venue in Suffolk and went straight to the barn to fly my drone and get some shots of the barn set up. I was working with the lovely Cara Zagni Photography today and we both arrived around the same time so we both got some establishing shots.

An Early Start To Bridal Preparations

A couple of days before the wedding I had messaged Kimberley’s Hair and Makeup team about timings. The hair stylist arrived at 4:45AM! Wow, yeah that’s an early start and she was a few coffees in when Cara and I arrived.

Preparations were well under way and we got a few shots before heading back over to Peter and the boys. They were getting married in another cottage on site so it was just a quick walk.

Time flew and it was soon time for Elms Barn’s Bentley to start their multiple trips.

Married Amongst The Gardens

Kimberley and Peter were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens for their ceremony, this was despite the wind and dark clouds appearing from nowhere! It was bizarre but these two didn’t care one beat.

Peter had the biggest grin on his face as he saw Kimberley come around the corner towards him. Vows shared and legalities completed they were Mr and Mrs!

They left the gardens and we lined their guests up confetti in hand and well, they got pelted with confettii!

Another Fleeting Golden Hour

As often seems to be the case at the moment, instead of golden hour we keep getting a golden few minutes and you have to time it spot on. Which, of course, we did!

We made our way out to the trees at the back of the venue. Often I will pop into the field but unfortunately there was nothing in the field but the trees worked their magic!

Elms Barn is a lovely location to be a wedding videographer in Suffolk. Especially if you get some golden light as there are some fab options.

After we did the couples stuff a quick champagne spray followed and then we hit the dance floor.

Nurses Love To Party

One thing you can always be sure of if you are filming either a military wedding or an Nurse’s wedding is that you will get a great party in the evening. Kimberley and Peter’s day didn’t disappoint with a banging dance floor from song one!
