A Woodhall Manor Wedding In The Sunshine
One of the early chats I had with Jamais and Jason about their wedding at Woodhall Manor was just how much they were desperate for their outdoor ceremony. Often the conversation is about rain but for these two, the initial concern was the heat.
As it was there wasn’t a problem in the end and these two had the perfect outdoor ceremony in the gardens of this lovely wedding venue in Suffolk.
A Mega Relaxed Morning
I arrived to find Jamais about to step into makeup. There was plenty happening but the relaxed vibes were clear. The vibes continued even when Jason arrived with his boys.
Jamais was all made up with plenty of time to spare so I was able to spend lots of time in groom prep too. Jason was in a lovely sage green suit and looked sharp as anything!
Confetti In Style
Straight after their wedding ceremony, Jamais and Jason were covered head to foot in confetti. From there it was straight around to the back of the hall for some drinks and canepes.
With a sax playing party tracks there was a real summer feel to the day. One I absolutely loved being their Suffolk wedding videographer.
We Really Want To Go In The Long Grass
As well as their outdoor ceremony, another thing we talked about a lot on their pre-wed call was that they really wanted some evening shots down in the long grass. Whilst the sun decided not to play ball, I was going to make sure we got them down there.
A quick chat with the super helpful team and a plan was made to go between deserts and speeches… we stepped outside, aaaand it started raining! Thankfully, it only lasted a matter of minutes and off we went!
Afrobeats
After the first dance, the dance floor erupted as a soundtrack of afrobeats sounded out in the club at Woodhall. I had so much fun with these two legends and all their lovely guests! Even as I left Jason was still in the middle of the dance floor! So here is the sneakiest of sneak peeks into their gorge day!
