The Prep
Wow wow wow! My first ever visit to The Wilderness Reserve as a wedding videographer in Suffolk and what a first wedding to have there!
The Wilderness Reserve is 100% right up my street with beautiful long grass areas and stunning scenery througout. Ariel and Charlie had their ceremony outside the walled gardens and then made their way into the walled gardens for the rest of the day.
The wedding venue was the perfect backdrop to this really unique day. Ariel from the US and Charlie from the UK created a magical event for their wedding day.
As I stood in the bridal prep I must confess to becoming just a little bit excited for the day ahead! There were so many special little moments of this day that were just right out of the “right up my street” bracket.
How They Made it Their Own
The Wilderness Reserve is pretty much a dry hire venue meaning there was lots of scope for Ariel and Charlie to create the wedding of their dreams.
A beautiful personal ceremony officianted by family members complete with personal vows was the perfect start. Inside the walled gardens there was a stunning marquee without sides to sit down for food. The whole day had a sloght festival feel which fitted in with the venue perfectly.
Wedding Video Vibe
Where do I start with these two? We took a little walk around the grounds of the venue and Ariel and Charlie smashed it! Working alongside Sharon Cudsworth again we were able to capture magical natual images of the couple as they just spent some time away.
With personalised vows these too had to feature heavily and were used to set out the base of the wedding film.
