REAL WEDDING
A Beautiful Beach Titchwell Manor Wedding Video
REBEKAH + MARCUS
OCTOBER 2019│NORFOLK
Quite possibly the question I get asked the most is “what do we do if it rains on our wedding day?” I always respond if you are willing to grab a brolly and go for it then we will make the most of it! Well, this was quite possibly the wettest wedding day I have ever filmed! Rebekah and Marcus had chosen Titchwell Manor because of their love of the Norfolk Coast so desperately wanted to head to the beach!
I had been genuinely buzzing about Rebekah and Marcus’ wedding day, working with my good mate Luis Holden Photography I knew this would be something a little bit special. I should probably realised in advance there was a chance of rain, the first time I met the couple I headed over to Titchwell Manor for a chat about their day and well, it rained! A lot!
The rain started around 8am and finally stopped around 9pm, in time for us to go out and smash an awesome Wedding Sparkler Shot. Rebekah and Marcus were such good sports and had an incredible day and just before the meal they said to us “let’s go for it!” so we did! We hopped into the car and headed down to the beach.
The wind was blowing a gale and was blowing the couple backwards with their brolly but they soldiered on to get to at least some part of sand! While they never made it as far as the sea, it was an almighty effort!
The couple were married in church before heading back to Titchwell Manor where the team looked after them and their guests. This was a proper party with after the sparklers everyone kicked off their heels and danced the night away! There was one last thing to show the couple though and that was their “Same Day Edit” Wedding Film.
Fulfilling the Dream
As I mentioned before, these two had been desperate to head to the beach and had made an almighty effort to actually get there! After a little chat with Luis, we went up to them and made a suggestion. Looking at the weather the next day was looking the complete opposite so should we try again with the couples shoot the next morning? A love story shoot booked in we headed back to the same beach that had been virtually unreachable a few hours earlier.
The bluest skies you could ever imagine met us! Rebekah and Marcus arrived fully in wedding attire (plus wellys!) and off we went! We had so much fun and hardly had to suggest anything to them as they just enjoyed the sunshine and each other!
Do you know what? I loved this day so much and you didn’t disappoint! It was an honour to be your wedding videographer you legends!!
