A hot summers day at The Garden Barn at Little Bradley in Suffolk. I always love it when someone chooses me to be a wedding videographer in Suffolk at a wedding venue I haven’t filmed at before. This gorgeous venue was the perfect backdrop for these two to have their beautiful wedding day.
Getting ready in the morning
I arrived nice and early to capture Chris getting ready at a local pub. As I arrived Chris confessed he had had a bit of a mishap with his packing and left his trousers a 4-hour drive away. Fear not, complete with trousers in hand Chris’ friend arrived to save his blushes. As a chef, food was very much a theme that ran through the day. I was about to leave and Louisa’s present arrived so I was lucky to capture Chris open his new chef’s knife.
A short hop in the car and I found Louisa at her parent’s where pancakes were the order of the day. A really chilled atmosphere greeted me as I arrived. Louisa was so organised it wasn’t long before she was in her wedding dress and ready to have a chill. I always highly recommend being in your dress in good time. It gives you a great chance to enjoy some time before things busy up.
A Humanist Outdoor Ceremony
This was my first ever Humanist wedding ceremony and we had the amazing Nat Raybould on hand to officiate. It was proper hot and having an outdoor ceremony in a beautiful location was so special. After the tying of the knot, it was soon time for the couple to enjoy a chilled drink reception.
A Walk Together
Before the couple joined their friends they wanted to take some time together. This was the perfect opportunity to capture some couples footage. Louisa’s dress was sparkling in the sun and you could see that Chris was mesmerised by the sequins.
Food Food Food
Do you remember I mentioned Chris being a chef? Well, it’s not every day where you have a former Masterchef winner on food but OMG the food was exceptional at this wedding. I knew it was going to be good but wow!
What an amazing wedding day this was, my first visit to The Garden Barn in Little Bradley, Suffolk and just the perfect day! I hope you enjoy this gorgeous wedding film as much as I loved filming it!
