An Amazing The Boathouse Wedding Video

Alex and Emily first visited The Boathouse in Ormesby when visiting family and they knew straight away it was the Norfolk Wedding Venue they wanted to hold their wedding day.  So it was off to Norfolk for these two for a beautiful wedding overlooking the Norfolk Broads.

I knew as soon as I chatted to Alex about being their Norfolk Wedding Videographer.  All the plans they had for their wedding day was going to be right up my street.  Just two people who love each other very much and a very intimate day with their family and friends.  Was really looking forward to filming their big day and it didn’t disappoint!

Alex got ready at The Boathouse while Emily got ready at her Mum’s house nearby so a few hops backwards and forward and I soon had some lovely footage of the girls putting their dresses on and it was time for the ceremony.

The weather was beautiful as Alex and Emily made their way up the aisle on the deck overlooking the water and after a beautiful solo song performance from Emily’s Maid of Honour, it was time for their outdoor wedding ceremony to say the wedding vows.  Not before a nasty wasp decided to dive-bomb my head!

So Much Love!

After the ceremony, we headed out so that Alex and Emily could have some time away.  What genuinely touched me was just how into each other these two were! It was so lovely to just be able to tell them to be themselves and they soon forgot we were there!  A little wander to the Jetty (it’s The Boathouse, it’s got to be done!) and it was soon time for speeches and then the first dance.

Exciting news

Fast forward 12 months and I was contacted by these two lovely ladies wanting to do not only a Rock the Frock shoot for their anniversary.  They also had big news!  These two will make amazing parents and I am so proud of them!  It was a pleasure to put together a film to share the news with their friends and family!
