The Prep:
Is there any sweeter Love Story than one where a guy meets the girl next door when they were children and they grow up to be husband and wife? The prep in the morning was so chilled but as I popped around to see James first at Southwood Hall I could tell just how emotional he was about the day. I always love it when my job as a wedding videographer in Norfolk takes me the short trip down the road to Southwood. For bride prep I headed over to Lindsey’s childhood home where everything was completely relaxed.
How They Made It Their Own:
This was such a lovely wedding day, Southwood Hall looked beautiful and the church was a gorgeous backdrop too. There were plenty of personal touches scattered around the tables that helped bring their story to life. Throw in the backstory as I have already said this day was a little bit special. Two genuinely lovely people and I couldn’t have been more delighted to produce a special film for them.
Wedding Video Vibe:
This was a day packed full of emotion. When James arrived at the church even people asking if he was ok was enough to bring a tear to his eye. Then when the vicar talked about his own marriage there wasn’t many dry eyes left! With that in mind, the focus of Lindsey and James’ wedding film had to built around that word, emotion.
We talked in advance about writing each other messages on the morning. Lindsey and James did just this but with their own little twist on it. Instead of just reading their messages on their own they asked me if they could read it to each other. Obviously, the answer was Hell Yes!
