The Prep
It’s always a pleasure to head that 7 minute journey from my front door to Southwood Hall. Southwood is pretty much the closest wedding venue I visit as a wedding videographer in Norfolk.
In the build up to the big day we had lots of chats about plans for the preparations and plan A had been an outdoor ceremony but as I arrived the rain was falling. I headed in to see Ellie and we looked at the probability of plan B.
Now as plan B’s go, The Coronation Barn at Southwood Hall is a pretty decent one and the guys had the most gorgeous ceremony in the barn.
How They Made it Their Own
These two were genuinely so lovely and that came across on their day. Yes, we had to move to plan B but that didn’t effect the gorgeous decor they had set up. We did have to make sure we used their flower arch a little later than planned.
Wedding Video Vibe
The emotion on the day was beautiful. So many lovely little moments that just had to be included in the film. From both of their faces as they saw each other down the aisle to the odd little tear shed during the ceremony itself, there was a really soft and gentle vibe that helped me choose the music for the highlights.
I have to give a big shout-out to these guys for the party in the evening. Because it was a good one! I always say if you want a good dancefloor then the best way to achieve that is to be on the dancefloor yourself. I don’t remember Ellie leaving the floor as she well and truly danced the night away!
I hope you enjoy this little look into this very special wedding day.
