The Prep
Freya and Joe had a beautifully laid back wedding at Oxnead Hall in Norfolk. This was my last trip of seven to Oxnead this year as a Norfolk Wedding Videographer and each wedding I had filmed there was just beautiful.
Freya and Joe both got ready on site which always makes it so much easier on the day. I arrived alongside Tim Stephenson and headed down to the cottage. I am not going to lie, if as we arrived you had told us the outdoor ceremony was still going ahead I wouldn’t have been shocked but I might have raised an eyebrow!
As it was, the rain cleared up bang on cue and before we knew it we were all outside waiting for Freya’s arrival.
How They Made it Their Own
This was a gorgeous black tie wedding where all the little details were just beautiful. Nothing showy, just perfectly in keeping with the relaxed day that the guys wanted.
The day ran beautifully and it was lovely to spend some time with these two amazing people. Now, of course, it’s Oxnead so we just had to take a wander around the gardens. Plan A was to do some couples stuff before the meal and then take them again during. But they smashed it so much we never needed to go out again!
Wedding Video Vibe
This was such a chilled laid back day I definitely wanted to reflect that when creating the wedding films. With a little bit of searching I came up with the perfect music to form the backdrop and then began creating. We had so much couples footage that, of course, that had to feature heavily! (You all know by now how much I love couples portraits!)
