Asha and Paul were one of my last bookings of 2021 and it was lovely to get to know them before the day. When I first spoke to Asha she had just given birth and was having to be mega organised organising a wedding at the same time. It is always amazing being a Norfolk Wedding videographer and Oxnead Hall is one of the best places to do my thing!
Intimate Day
Asha and Paul arranged the most beautiful intimate wedding. Originally planned for an Outdoor wedding ceremony in the venue’s gardens. Unfortunately, the weather intervened but to be fair, the ceremony room at Oxnead is, without doubt, a special Plan B!
Asha got ready in the bridal prep room in the courtyard while Paul was in the barn with his groomsmen. Once Asha was in her dress she headed for the ceremony. I’m not sure there were many dry eyes in the room as she made her way down the aisle. The couple exchanged their vows, which included Asha promising to share her chocolate and allowing Paul a lie in!
The weather had dried out and the couple joined their guests in the gardens.
Surprise!
Once the wedding breakfast and gorgeous speeches were over, Asha disappeared with her sister. When she returned she had changed into a traditional Indian style outfit to surprise Paul. In all my weddings I have never filmed a first look (little did I know at the time this would be the first followed by my second a week later!) but with a little bit of planning, we managed to create a special moment for these two.
There was a proper party after that with a packed dancefloor for the rest of the night! It was lovely being a part of such an intimate special day and these two were just awesome. I absolutely loved being their wedding videographer and here is a little sneak peek into their day.
