Richenda and Theo had the perfect wedding day in the Norfolk sunshine. A few weeks before the wedding, I headed over to scout out the location alongside Georgia (photographer) and needless to say, I was looking forward to being their Norfolk wedding videographer.

The weather in the run-up to the big day was a little bit sketchy at best. As I arrived at The Rising Sun in Coltishall to catch Theo, the sun started to burn through. The sun shone all day long and it was a beaut of a day.

Preperations

Theo was taking a little walk with his brother alongside the river as we arrived. You could already see there were a few nerves. We headed upstairs and captured Theo getting into his suit. He looked very sharp in his tails and collar. It was soon time to head over to the private venue to find Richenda.

As we walked around the corner, we were met with the most epic marquee I think I have ever seen. To stick to the current guidelines, two sides were open, making it look even more awesome! The guys had picked a neon greek theme and it brought a real elegance to the day.

Upstairs, Richenda was in hair and make-up. The room was full of laughter as we made our way in. The gown chosen for the day was just a little bit special. With a little bit of help, Richenda was soon in her dress and heading to the church.

A Live streamed Wedding Ceremony

When the government announced that weddings were going to be allowed unlimited guests dependant on social distancing, it soon became clear that not all Richenda and Theo’s guests would be able to join them in the church. I reached out to some local suppliers and Victor stepped up to live-stream the ceremony back to the marquee.

While I couldn’t be in two places at once, I heard there was an amazing atmosphere in the marquee as the ceremony took place.

Richenda arrived in a stunning Rolls Royce and was soon making her way down the aisle. She had promised us at our prewedding meeting that she would definitely be on time. Promise delivered it was bang on time that the ceremony began.

A Garden Party

After the ceremony, Richenda and Theo took the scenic route back from the church. This allowed their guests to arrive before them and meant they received a lovely reaction when they met their guests, including those who couldn’t attend the church.

Before they were to sit down for supper, the happy couple hopped onto a family tractor and took a ride around. They then made their big entrance as they ran from the gardens to the marquee. All their guests loved the entrance.

Golden Hour

While the couple ate, Georgia and I walked around the front of the hall to be met by the most epic golden light! Now, if you have been following me for a while, you will know I love a golden hour. A quick chat with the couple and we were out in the field capturing some couples time. As we walked over, Richenda talked about Karen and Michael’s wedding film and how much she loved its fun. I knew that their sneak peek would be packed full of fun.

I had been so excited for these guys to get married. It was as amazing as I had hoped. I genuinely had so much fun. Check out this sneak peek wedding film, which is packed full of laughter!

We absolutely love it

Thank you so so much for the film, we absolutely love it and defo brought the day back to us!!
