Emily and Simon exchanged vows at the lovely South Farm in Hertfordshire. Let's talk about ghosting...

Today is my first day back in the office and Ok, I appreciate that this is probably a controversial topic and one I should probably keep clear of, but I wanted to talk about it.

On average, 50-60% of all enquiries end the same way: I write a lovely email to send out my brochure, check in to see if it was received, email again to see if they have any questions, and then let them know I will be archiving their details—all without receiving a single reply.

I 100% know we live in a busy world where we are all trying to find time to do everything we need to. Sometimes, we look at a brochure and say, "That's not for me!" Move on and you don't have the time to return to the company and let them know.

By simply sending a quick email to the supplier, thank you for your information. Although it is not for us, you can save yourself and the supplier a lot of time (they will no longer send you emails you don't need or want). For the supplier, that time could be spent talking to other couples or, more importantly, with their family.

I want to say a massive thank you to all my lovely couples and everyone who takes the time to enquire with me. I also appreciate entirely that my packages aren't for everyone. If you are worried about offending me by letting me know, trust me, I have pretty broad shoulders and 100% would never be offended if someone said thank you, but it's not for us.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I didn't know whether to write it or not, but I have taken the plunge. If other suppliers find the same thing, let me know in the comments!
