A Gorgeous Wedding Video from Kimberley Hall
Dearbhla + Tom
NOVEMBER 2020│NORFOLK
Do you know what? 2020 has just been bizarre! Take Dearbhla and Tom’s wedding at Kimberley Hall in Norfolk. All planned in and happy to go ahead even with restrictions. What happens? Lockdown 2.0. But this wasn’t going to stop these legends!
Adamant that they were going to get married. They completely rescheduled their entire wedding with just 48 hours notice. A feat all the more impressive with some of the logistics involved. All of this also caught the eye of BBC’s Mike Liggins who attended the wedding to report on BBC Look East.
Socially Distanced Wedding Preperations
Even with the wedding being pulled forward. There were, without doubt, lots of restrictions to be aware of. From limiting the number of people in the bridal prep room to the usage of masks and social distancing.
None of this fazed Dearbhla who still loved every moment of her bridal prep. We then spotted a rather special little car arriving at Kimberley Hall. Tom arrived in his beloved Peugeot 205 dressed in one of the coolest shirts!
Beautiful Wedding Ceremony
As Dearbhla walked into the ceremony room. She sang the couples favourite song (A Thousand Years) before walking down the aisle. With the guests in masks and socially distanced. The emotion of the ceremony wasn’t affected in the slightest. What a lovely ceremony it was, I am so pleased that these two were able to have the wedding they had planned!
The Press Were Waiting
Straight after the ceremony it was time for the BBC to have a little bit of time with the couple. A quick chat to camera and a selfie with the reporter. We then did a gorgeous confetti line so that the BBC could include some of that. Not too sure about the angle of my backside that was included in the report though!
Couples Time
Oh, the golden light! The grounds at the back of Kimberley Hall are well known for their sunset. As the sun went down the grasslands were bathed in stunning golden light. It was a november wedding so without doubt it wasn’t the warmest. The sun was bright and glorious.
After capturing some beautiful wedding film in the gardens we headed into the butterfly room. The Butterfly Room is another well known feature at Kimberley Hall and I can see why.
A stunning meal
It was soon time to sit down for some food. What an incredible meal it was. Expresso Cafe & Catering were on fire as the couple and their guests enjoyed the wedding breakfast.
It was then time for the wedding speeches. Again bearing in mind the restrictions of the day. The speeches were held in a restricted manor. It didn’t take away the emotion and love for these two. What an amazing day and it was a pleasure to be a part of.
