Anyone who knows me will know two of my biggest passions in life are my job as a Norfolk Wedding Videographer and my love of cricket. When Natasha and Aaron told me they were bringing their cricket set to their wedding day at Hockwold Hall I just knew it was going to be awesome!
Beautiful Outdoor ceremony
I first met Natasha when she was a bridesmaid at the gorgeous wedding of Catherine and Stephen and we talked about her wedding plans. Fast forward to the Hockwold Hall wedding fair and she brought the whole family for a longer chat. It didn’t take long before they were all booked in and ready to go.
As I arrived I headed up to see Natasha and her girls getting ready. Emily from Love Moi was on make-up and things were soon coming together and it was time for dad to swap his Man City shirt for something a bit more formal and walk his daughter down the aisle.
Hockwold Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues in Norfolk and has a fantastic space for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Natasha made her way smiling towards Aaron whose eyes started leaking (only a little bit). One of the big bonuses of the new laws on outdoor ceremonies is no more having to hide under the structure, you can now have the full outdoor experience.
I Don’t Like Cricket…
I’ve played cricket for a couple of clubs for about 20 years and it is definitely my go-to sport. There was such a buzz when after the speeches we headed out for a spot of cricket. Competitive wasn’t the word, there were more oohs and aahs than when Shane Warne used to bowl England out with 10 men around the bat.
In particular, when Aaron bowled his perfect maiden over (oh come on, I know it’s cheesy but I had to do it!) there was shouts and screams everywhere. This was such a unique way to entertain their guests.
The evening progressed into a proper party. The guys danced the night away with their guests and just before I left there was a rather epic little number that had everyone on the floor!
I hope you love this Hockwold Hall wedding video. I had such a blast with these two and their family! Thank you for choosing me to be your wedding videographer!
