The Prep
The first moment I spke to Hanna about her wedding with Jake I knew this was going to be a fun one. I think the guys (and of course I mean Hanna) had booked in more entertainment than I some times see in two or three weddings. From surprise singing waiters (that even had the bar staff at Hockwold Hall dancing behind the bar) to owls (yes owls) there was definately something for everyone where it came to their guests.
Hockwold Hall is a venue I always enjoy going to as a Norfolk wedding videographer and the team are always on it making sure the day goes smoothly.
How They Made it Their Own
Well I have already mentioned the entertainment which was just an amazing mix but also there was some lovely decor on the day. This was my first autumn themed wedding since what has felt like such a long summer and it was lovely to see those autumnal colours coming through. It was a real contrast to a lot of the yellowness that we have seen the grass looking like in recent months.
The weather threatened at points but it stayed dry for the key moments of the day. The outdoor ceremony space at Hockwold always delivers and it was lovely that the rain stayed away while the couple said their vows.
Caroline from The Ceremony People was on hand for the ceremony ( I have another wedding coming up with her soon which I am sworn to secrecy about but keep an eye on the blog and you will find out soon enough!) Caroline tailored the ceremony to the couple and made it really personal to them.
Wedding Video Vibe
I needed to make sure I had a good mix in this film. Jake wasn’t a huge fan of the couples time (but he was so damn good at it!) Taking that into account meant I was looking to create a film that brought across the bubbly vibe of the couple and their day.
