The Prep
It was back to Hengrave Hall for my second wedding in a row this time for the lovely couple Lucy and Matt. Lucy and Matt had planned out a fun day complete with their wedding ceremony at the onsite chaple. The sun shone and allowed them to have their outdoor cocktail hour that they had hoped for.
I arrived before the couple and soon met Lucy as she was heading up to the bridal suite to get ready. Hengrave Hall is really unique in the fact that you both get ready so close together but there is never the risk of bumping into each other. It helps make my life as a Suffolk wedding videographer much easier I can confess.
How They Made it Their Own
This was a very intimate day with closest family and friends on hand to enjoy the autumnal sunshine. There were little personal touches on display all over the venue and it made it such a lovely wedding day to be involved in. I have only filmed a couple of ceremonies in the chapel so that was nice too!
Wedding Video Vibe
As this was such a sweet and intimate day the vibe that comes through in the film is just that. Sprinkle over the top Lucy’s infectious laugh and Matt’s total devotion and it meant I definately had plenty to play with.
When golden hour came we grabbed the guys and headed out into the back garden, keen to do our own thing we worked out a bit of a plan and the sun played ball. As did Lucy and Matt who were up for anything. What’s that line I always say? You get out what you put in! What a beautiful wedding and I loved being a part of it.
