The Prep
When we sat down to talk to Sarah and Damion about their wedding plans, it became obvious that this was going to be a special day. This was my second wedding out of three in a row working with Tim Stephenson. I always enjoy being a Norfolk Wedding Videographer at Godwick Hall and this winter wedding was definetly one I was looking forward to it.
We headed over to Manor Mews first to capture Damion’s getting ready. Alongside his best man it wasn’t long before Damion was all suited and booted and it was time for us to head over to Godwick to find Sarah. Sarah and Damion were really keen to have a first look to help calm their nerves before the ceremony. We ended up grabbing Damion just before Sarah arrived by tractor and set up a first look and it was lovely to see their reactions.
How They Made it Their Own
There was a lot of DIY details which decorated the barn beautifully. With a Friends/New York vibe there was such a unique feel to the day. Damion also spent a lot of time on the table plan and where the tables would be layed out. This alongside the personal decor meant the barn looked magical in the winter weather.
Wedding Video Vibe
The weather had come in and the whole day had a foggy vibe. Sarah and Damion didn’t care though their wellys went on and out we went for a walk to the ruins. These lovely moments were a key part of the highlights film I put together. Alongside the lovely card readings which helped to form the backbone of the film.
I genuinely think that this was the coldest I have ever been on a wedding day. I ended up having to walk around in just socks at the barn while my shoes dried infront of the heaters.
The whole day was so magical it was lovely to be a part of it. I hope you enjoy this little look into this amazing wedding.
