Of all my weddings in 2021, there is one couple that I have not only known but had on my books longer than anyone else. Heidi and Ali had a gorgeous wedding at Elms Barn. I was pleased that after their date had been moved a few times and nervous about restrictions, they held out and it was awesome to finally get to be their Suffolk wedding videographer.
A Wedding Day full of energy
I arrived at bridal prep in the morning to find a room packed full of energy already. Heidi was having her hair done and there were bridesmaids and flower girls all getting ready too. I had filmed Heidi’s brother’s wedding so I knew many of Heidi’s family well.
Knowing her dad, I just knew a reveal shot was going to be something a little bit special. When he saw his daughter in her dress it was one of the golden moments of the year.
What Did you Say?
The wedding ceremony was held in the Barn and lead to a moment that had everyone in the room in stitches. As Ali said the words “my lawful wedded wife” he spotted a snigger behind him. Their son’s voice then filled the room. “What did you say? Awful?” Pure gold!
Heidi and Ali made their way outside and straight into a confetti line. The weather was glorious and with Elms Barn looking as gorgeous as ever we took a wander around the gardens to capture some couples moments.
After the meal, the speeches were smashed and then it was time to party, and party they did! I loved finally being able to help capture the memories of these two awesome people. I hope you enjoy this little look into their Elms Barn Wedding.
