A Winter Elms Barn Wedding Video

This year was another epic year for me as a wedding videographer in Suffolk.  My last wedding of 2019 took me to Elms Barn in Suffolk for his rather special day.  If you have followed me for a while you will know I love a wedding sparkler shot.  One thing I have always wondered though is just how do you take a sparkler shot to the next level… well for Carla and John, the answer was simple… SNOW MACHINE!!

I arrived at Elms Barn in Suffolk to find Carla and John together and saying their goodbyes to each other before they headed off to get ready for their wedding day.  Carla and her girls were getting ready full of laughter.  It was soon time to head over across Elms Barn to find John and the lads.

As Carla walked towards John down the aisle you could see that these two really get each other and just how much their family meant to them.  For December the weather played ball and it gave us the chance to go and have a walkabout in the grounds of Elms Barn to capture some lovely couples moments on their wedding day.

The wedding speeches followed and there wasn’t a face in the place that didn’t have a smile on it!

Wedding Sparklers Shot

After the first dance, we headed outside in the dark in preparation for a wedding sparkler shot.  As I have always said I love a sparkler shot and Elms Barn is a fab place to have one because of the patio area.  This is when the snow machine came in!  It was so much fun with sparklers flashing and foam fake snow flying everywhere!

The party really kicked off after that and needless to say as with everything else on this wedding day it was something a little bit epic!  With some incredible shapes and human pyramids, the dancefloor at Elms Barn was not just packed but rocking!  Oh, and there might even have been some fake snow on the dancefloor too!  The awesome guys at Epic Event Hire were also on hand with their photobooth.

I had so much fun with these two on their wedding day and it was a pleasure to be their wedding videographer!  I hope you enjoy!
