The Prep:
It’s not every day you see a bride gift her husband a camper van on their wedding day. This was the second time I had seen this and Ironically at the same venue. I headed down to Bruisyard Hall for the wedding of Elin and Fraser. Obviously I had to keep a secret as the boys blindfolded Fraser and led him outside for his surprise. The look on his face was priceless (I would have been stunned too to be fair!) and it’s moments like that where I just love my job as a Suffolk wedding videographer.
There was a real buzz around the preparations at this lovely Bruisyard Hall wedding with, of course, everyone apart from Fraser knowing the secret and it was a great start to a gorgeous wedding day.
How They Made It Their Own:
There was a unique vibe of colours running through this gorgeous Bruisyard Hall wedding. Elin herself wore a graduated pink and white overskirt. When contrasted to her bridesmaids in white, it all lined up to make the day that little bit special. The couple had also created most of their decor, well to quote Elin’s mum Fraser worked well “under instruction.
The backdrop that Fraser had made was a riot of colour and fitted in with the theme perfectly. Then there were the smoke bombs. You can probably guess where I am going with this. Multicoloured smoke brought some fun to the bridal party photos.
The couple had also arranged a plethora of entertainment for their guests which helped give this Bruisyard Hall wedding a real festival feel. I remember speaking while the guests all ate that this was a wedding you would be really lucky to be invited to. A real highlight being the dancing on the front lawn to theatrical singers belting out all sorts of numbers from the likes of Frozen to The Greatest Showman.
Wedding Video Vibe:
With such a fun day, the vibe would naturally lead to something a bit fun and high tempo for their wedding film. However, what I also need to mention is golden hour (well golden 7 minutes). I took these guys out for a walk as the sun was going down and well all sorts of magic happened If that wasn’t enough then they started dancing and history was made.
Two of the nicest people living their best life, a pretty good starting point for a special wedding film!
