The Prep:
Now, I must open this post with a simple recognition. I, in my job as a Norfolk Wedding Videographer, always aim to be early. Tom is allegedly always late. So when we planned for me to head over to capture him getting ready before moving on to Hannah at Bayfield Hall. We all knew how the day was going to start. Tom’s mum opened the door and said “he’s not here yet!” All jokes aside (there were many in the speeches!) Tom quickly got ready at his mum’s house and I was soon able to find the girls at bridal prep.
The preparations at Bayfield Hall were well underway when I arrived with Ellie on Make-up and Cara on Hair. There were so many fun moments in the morning but one of the loveliest had to be once the little ones arrived complete with flowers to give to Hannah. This was closely followed by Hannah opening a bottle of bubbly to find it all come shooting out all over the place. It was soon time though to be heading over to the church for the wedding ceremony.
How They Made It Their Own:
Hannah and Tom had a really special wedding day and with so many personal elements included it made the day really unique. From choosing a venue that doesn’t do many weddings through to the decorating of the marquee, the whole day had a real chic feel. We only had our pre-wedding meeting a couple of days out and I walked away so excited about everything they had planned. They had also put a lot of thought into their wedding film and took on board several of my top tips. It helped bring everything together when it came to editing the footage.
Wedding Video Vibe:
This was such an elegant yet fun day so when it came to choosing which direction to take the film I knew I had to encapsulate that. As soon as Hannah had talked to me about the dress change and how Tom had no idea, a first look surprise felt the perfect way to bring that to life. I had also seen at the ceremony how Tom had reacted when he first saw Hannah so knew it would be a great way to kick the film off.
